I scratched my cornea and my regular opthalmologist is not working, neither has a voicemail or urgent number to call. I have some kind of eye infection and badly need to see an opthamologist asap; my optometrist is on vacation, so I can't ask her for a referral (I'm sure the office can suggest someone actually, but it's too hard for me to get out to the West Island), so how does this work? Can any of you recommend a gynecologist to me? Preferably female and preferably downtown but if he/she is exceptional and caring and all that jazz I will gladly make the trek anywhere accessible via public transporation.

Does anyone suffer from back problems? My friend is in excruciating back and neck pain, and cannot seem to get anykind of help.  He is currently not working because of it.  Does anyone know of any drs that might be able to help me.  Or perhaps a pain clinic.

Can anyone recommend a good podiatrist in the Montreal or south shore region? I know that it is very hard to find a "qualified" G.P these days that accept new patients. I need a really good doctor (experienced and caring) and if that means that I have to pay to visit one, I am willing to do it.
Can you please recommend a very good G.P who is working at a private clinic?
